formerly an angel. azazel is one of the fallen ones. he fell from heaven when he shared forbidden knowledge with humanity, about the creation of weapons as well as mining metals and other materials, to create not only swords, knives, armors, but also jewelry. causing them to become corrupt and arrogant to the point where they dared to demand an audience with God and even attempted to raid heaven itself to uncover the secrets of paradise. the corruption that azazel introduced caused war and bloodshed, bringing degradation to the human race. as god recognized the havoc caused by azazel, he cut his wings and commanded the archangel raphael to bind his hands and conceal his face. buried under the dust of the desert, azazel was damned to never see light again.

azazel was tempted into an affair with lilith. caught by lucifer, azazel was banished from hell as a punishment for betraying lucifer's trust and his powers were sealed. but, as his blood did not change, he continues to make deals for souls. now living on earth among humans and becoming the frontman of the metal band "Glass Houses".
